R.E.D San Francisco Trip 2012

As we search the scriptures and read about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, we see that Jesus is deeply concerned for the holistic well being of all His children. We see a God that not only restores people physically and spiritually, but He also equips his disciples to have great power in advancing His Kingdom. As a response to Jesus' Ministry and His calling on The Teen Center, it is our desire to help strengthen the youths spiritual life as well as equipping him or her to be successful and growing leaders in their churches, families, schools and careers.

Thoughts from Taylor Young…

Taylor Young: “Yooooo! We in San Fran like Bam Bam: This trip has opened my eyes to many different things. I have seen people look wealthy sitting next to people who have nothing. I have grown by seeing people try and make money by braiding hair on the comer and other people walking to nowhere. Coming from a place where I’m used to seeing homeless people and drug dealers on every corner,  I have never seen it done like it’s being done in San Fran. Experiencing all these things has taught me to be grateful for what I have even more. I was grateful before I saw these people and the way they were living I was just reminded on how much more I have than others. This trip has also made me want to become a Social Worker even more and help people like never before. So yeaah Bloggers just keep reading and looking and seeing…..and praising and singing for the LORD!!!!!! PEACE “
